RISING SUN MISSIONARY BAPTIST ASSOCIATION 

In the wake of the recent catastrophic act of terrorism that shook the foundation of our city and adversely impacted our community at-large, the Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Association officers and parent body offer condolences to the families impacted by this act of violence.

We are praying for your solace, and consolation during this time of sadness.  We are also praying for the recovery of those that were wounded during this tragic event and first responders that sacrifice on a daily basis to serve and protect the citizens of New Orleans and the greater metropolitan area. 

Thank you, to law enforcement agencies that give so much of themselves.  Our prayer is that God will renew your strength.

We are more that grateful for our Elected  Officials of  the State of Louisiana and City of New Orleans and Metropolitan Area.  Our prayer is that God will continue to guide and help our leaders to navigate through this process of invoking healing, recovery and unity.

In these difficult days to come our faith will lift us up and sustain us. 

Although we know that this act of terrorism cannot go unanswered, we urge and encourage elected officials, first responders and citizens the focus of resolve.  We believe every life is precious and turn to the scripture and are reminded as communities of hope it is our objective to invoke peace.
